No One Can Pay Your Worth: Understanding Self-Worth and Value

May 03, 20253 min read

Is it Worth or Value?

Here is a little secret… No one is going to pay your worth.

I believe your worth or self worth is priceless. You may even say it is impossible to put a value on it...

Your self worth is everything.  It is how you move about in this world.  It drives your decision making process, your relationships, and your network worth.

If you have a low self worth, it is difficult to become wealthy.  By the way, I consider being wealthy two different things.

There are a lot of rich people that decide to leave this world because of low self worth.  I know there are other problems. This is not to make light of mental health.  Your mental health is so important.  It also ties into your self worth.

Your true wealth far outweighs what anyone is willing to pay you.  It is important you know that!

What will people pay for?

The value you offer… What value do you bring to the table?

For you to deliver value.  You must understand your worth. Your passion.  Why you are here?

“Your Worth is not determined by others opinions”

What is your purpose?  When you understand the purpose, you can understand your worth.  When you understand your worth, you can build value.  When you build value… There will be people lining up to exchange money for that value.

Can you imagine someone going up to Warren Buffett and saying:  “I want to pay you what you are worth.”  The thing is who on earth has enough money to do that?

Well, it's the same for you.  No one has the money to pay you your worth.

Because you are priceless!  This is important for you to understand.

If it is money you seek, it is up to you to start building value. Enough value that someone is willing to exchange it with their money.

We are happy to pay for something we value. I see people pay thousands of 💵for a pair of shoes. I have not found a pair of shoes that I value that much. I would guess my wife has her eye on a pair, maybe not.  It would more than likely be a purse.

The fact, I wouldn’t not buy a pair of shoes for myself is ok. I'm not the ideal customer for high end shoes. Why? Because I do not value it.  My wife does and because I value her.  She will more than likely get those shoes one day.  Don’t tell her though.

If someone does not value what you have to offer, one of two things are true

They are not the right customer for you.

Or

You have not built enough value for the person to be willing to depart with their money.

Keep growing ... Keep adding value… Keep sharing your story.

Your ideal customer is out there.

If you are ready to start building value and just not sure how to get started.  I offer a 5 day one on one coaching program called Fast Track.  At the end of the 5 days, you will have a clearer understanding of how to start building your value and recognizing your worth.
